The Google Pixel the Android iPhone we’ve all been waiting for? Well, that’s the cheeky headline from Joanna Stren from the Wall Street Journal.
We are seeing a great deal of positive sentiment surrounding the Google Pixel launch and doubtless, the Android boffins at Googleplex will be delighted, but whether or not we are ready to throw the towel in on our shiny new iPhone 7’s is another matter!
It’s obvious that Google has gone a long way to mimic the iPhone 7, in fact, its definitely a clone. As Ms. Stern says, this is Google’s pitch to all of us dedicated iPhone users out there who maybe do use a lot of Google services.
Me? I’m happy with my iPhone and its superb integration with my other Apple devices. Apart from that, compared to the Apple App Store, Google Play is still a bit of a wild west show and if you’ve been with Apple for a long time as we have in the JustTech offices, you’ll have a lot of time and maybe even money invested in Apple Apps and services.
